Where did September go?

Oh my. I fell off of the planet again, and somehow an entire month went by. Really fast.

All of our crops are pretty much ka-put. We got a few ears of corn, the rest were eaten by something. We are still getting a few tomatoes and a few very sad peppers. We have one watermelon left to eat. But total we put up 20 quarts of spaghetti sauce, 5 quarts of salsa, and 12 quarts of pickles. No one in our house will be getting scurvy any time soon. One of our chickens died, but we are still steadily getting 4 chicken eggs and 2 duck eggs a day.
