Yesterday was our 4th anniversary! So to celebrate that, let's take a brief history lesson on how we have evolved over the years.
This was the first picture we ever took together. This was about a week after we started dating. We are babies :o) I would be 20, and Mr. M is 22 (still in the Marines). This pic is circa June, 2002.
This was one of our engagment pictures. Mr. M proposed on Nov. 20, 2003. I was 21 and he was 23. We had been dating for 1.5 years.

Our honeymoon. 4 years ago today, I was there. On a cruise to Mexico for 5 days, and then in New Orleans for 5 days. I want to go back :o)
1st Anniversary: We went to see a play at the KSU McCain Auditorium, and then to dinner at Little Apple Brewery. (Mr. M was still in college and we were short on cash.) (Me, 23, Mr. M, 25)
2nd Anniversary: We stayed a ngiht at the Argosy casino/hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant, the casino and the spa. Fabulous. (Me, 24, Mr. M, 26)
3rd Anniversary: This picture was not taken on our actual anniversary, but a few days later during our family vaca to Arkansas. Our plan for our actual anniversary was to stay at a B&B in Manhattan, but alas there was a major tornado, if you remember, and we spent the night in our hallway under a mattress. Not ON a mattress, UNDER a mattress, there is quite a difference.
4th Anniversary: We went to the Plantation Steakhouse here in Topeka, then enjoyed the cake that Mr. M special ordered and some wine. It was wonderful and low key and relaxed. I am so thankful for these 4 years with my husband, he is the best man I know and I am grateful God sent him to me.
